About the Owner
Owner Ron Henderson, a lifelong resident of Polk County, took over Country Boy Pest Control in 1990 after his former boss who trained him in the industry moved out of state. Country Boy originated in Sebring but after a year, Ron decided to move the office to Winter Haven. While still involved in the company, Ron has stepped back from the day-to-day operations and turned it over to his two sons. Ron plans to retire within the next few years and let his sons completely run the business. Ron also serves as a pastor at a church in the city he was raised in (Eagle Lake Assembly of God) and still fulfills the role of a business owner.
